Kalaburagi, July 20: Gurupurnima was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kalaburagi, herein Sharan Sirasagi.The program started with prayers and garlanding of Valmiki’s portrait.The children were told about Vyasa Maharshri and the importance of Guru. Students sang songs about the importance of Guru.A Sadguru is someone who brings joy to a childlike being by breaking the eight types of Samsara Pashas with the compassionate stroke of a sword.

ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಜುಲೈ 20: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಶರಣ ಸಿರಸಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಹಾಭಾರತ ಬರೆದಂತಹ ವ್ಯಾಸ ಮುನಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗುರುವಿನ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗುರುವಿನ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತದ ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಡಿದರು.ಮಗುವಿನಂತಿರುವ ಜೀವಿಗೆ ಕರುಣೆಯೆಂಬ ಖಡ್ಗದ ಹೊಡೆತದಿಂದ ಎಂಟು ಪ್ರಕಾರದ ಸಂಸಾರ ಪಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಯಾರೋ, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸದ್ಗುರುವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
