Kalaburgi, Aug 8: Nagara Panchami festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kalaburagi, Sharana Sirasagi.Sri Shivraj N, Principal of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Vijayanagar, Mysuru was present.Children performed group singing and dancing in the program. Sri Shivraj N spoke about the background of Nagara Panchami festival, the customs that were celebrated earlier, and the environmental protection concerns behind it.
ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 8: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಶರಣ ಸಿರಸಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರ ಪಂಚಮಿ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶ್ರೀನಗರ, ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಎನ್ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಮೂಹಗಾನ ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಎನ್ ಅವರು ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿ ಉತ್ಸವದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ, ಮೊದಲು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
