Kalaburagi, July 25: Kargil Victory Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kalaburagi, Sharan Shirasagi. Smt. Supriya Mathapathy offered flowers to the Amar Jawan portrait. Later speaking “Warriors sacrificed their lives for the country. In Kargil, there were adverse conditions like bitter cold, lack of food, etc., Even though there were such adverse situations, they fought for country without care of their lives. They sacrificed their life for the country first. The story of Kargil should be told to our children and youth today; They should be made aware of patriotism and sacrifice” she said.
ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಜುಲೈ 25: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಶರಣ ಶಿರಸಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವ ದಿನ’ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಮಠಪತಿಯವರು ‘ಅಮರ್ ಜವಾನ್’ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ “ಯೋಧರು ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೆಯುವ ಚಳಿ, ಆಹಾರದ ಕೊರತೆ , ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಕೂಡ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಹಂಗನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಹೋರಾಡಿದರು. ದೇಶ ಮೊದಲು ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇಂದಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ನ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ, ತ್ಯಾಗದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎನ್ನುವ ಕಿವಿಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
