Purandasara Jayanti Celebration in RVK – Sharana Sirasgi

Kalaburagi, Jan. 19: Purandasara Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kalaburagi, Sharan Shirasagi. The students spoke and said that Purandasara is known as the father of Karnataka music. He strengthened the devotion to God and the tradition of Dasa. He explained that an incident in his life changed his mind and realized that devotion is greater than worldly wealth and dedicated himself to the devotion of Vitthal, music and public service.
