The teaching staff participated in this and Sri Ravikumar J N Academic Coordinator, was present as the resource person.<br \/>\n<strong>Objective of the FDP:<\/strong> To enhance educators\u2019 understanding of the Pygmalion Effect and its implications in classroom dynamics, teacher-student relationships, and academic outcomes. The session aimed to empower teachers to foster high expectations and positive reinforcement strategies.<br \/>\n<strong>Session Highlights<\/strong><br \/>\nIntroduction to the Pygmalion Effect as a psychological phenomenon where high expectations lead to improved performance.<br \/>\nDiscussion of the Rosenthal &amp; Jacobson (1968) study and its relevance in modern classrooms. Exploration of teacher biases, self-fulfilling prophecies, and the impact of expectations on student motivation.
