Kalaburagi, Sept. 5: Teachers Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kalaburagi, Sharan Sirsagi. Dr. Prahlad Burli, President of Ramabai Jahagirdar Pre-University College of the city, who arrived as a guest at the program, spoke and said, “We remember Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan for providing valuable education and for handling his role as a teacher effectively for the development of society. The role of teachers in the progress of society is significant, and the level of a society can be understood by observing the education and teachers there. In this modern era, the decline of values is constantly happening. The teaching community should be committed to its revival, and educational institutions that have the thought of nation building should work together in such a task,” he hoped. Books were distributed to all the staff members in the program and they were motivated to study. The program was presided over by Sri Krishna Joshi, the school correspondent. Mrityunjaya sang Gurusthavan in the program.
ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಸೆ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕಲಬುರಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭ್ಯಾಗತರಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ನಗರದ ರಮಾಬಾಯಿ ಜಾಹಗಿರದಾರ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ಬುರ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, “ಮೌಲ್ಯಯುತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಸರ್ವಪಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೆನೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸಮಾಜದ ಏಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಗಣನೀಯವಾದದ್ದು ಒಂದು ಸಮಾಜವು ಯಾವ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ಈ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಕುಸಿತ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಪ್ರತಿಬದ್ಧರಾಗಬೇಕು, ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಇರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಒಮ್ಮನದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಆಶಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರಿಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿ, ಸ್ವಾಧ್ಯಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಜೋಶಿ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು . ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃತ್ಯುಂಜಯರವರು ಗುರುಸ್ಥವನ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
