Kalaburgi, May 20: An awareness campaign called ‘Drug-Free Driver’ was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Sharanasirasagi. Sri Paramanand Sajjan, Regional Transport Office Inspector of Kalaburgi, and Sri Shakeel Angadi, who arrived as guests for the program, were present. Speaking, Sri Paramanand Sajjan said that this campaign should not be held in just one school but in all schools and colleges of Kalaburgi. If the rules are followed, accidents will decrease, only when we lead our life style properly can such mistakes be prevented. And he said that by showing various signs to the drivers, which steps should be taken while driving, we will become lifeless like them if we do not use them. Speaking, Sri Shakeel Angadi said that 180 ITMC cameras have been installed in the city and if the rules are violated, they will be fined. Speaking at the event, Sri Jayaram Nayak, Head of the Transport Department of the Rashtrotthana Parishath, said that a driver should not just be a driver, but a polite and cultured driver, adding that today the drivers of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kalaburgi are the forerunners of this campaign.
ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿ, ಮೇ. 20: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶರಣಸಿರಸಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ನಶೆ ಮುಕ್ತ ಚಾಲಕ’ ಎಂಬ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭ್ಯಾಗತರಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿಯ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಕಚೇರಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪರಮಾನಂದ ಸಜ್ಜನ್ ರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಕೀಲ್ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಪರಮಾನಂದ ಸಜ್ಜನ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ
ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದೇ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗದೆ ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಘಾತಗಳಾಗುವುದು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುವುದು. ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಶೈಲಿಯನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇಂತಹ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು. ಹಾಗೂ ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತ ಹಲವಾರು ಚಿಹ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾವು ಅವುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿರ್ಜೀವವಾಗಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಶಕೀಲ್ ಅಂಗಡಿಯವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 180 ITMC ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ನಿಯಮ ತಪ್ಪಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯರಾಮ ನಾಯಕರವರು ಚಾಲಕರು ಕೇವಲ ಚಾಲಕನಾಗಿರದೆ ಅವನು ಸಜ್ಜನ, ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಯುತ ಚಾಲಕನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ, ಇಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕಲಬುರ್ಗಿಯ ಚಾಲಕರು ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
