Kalaburagi, June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kalaburagi, Sharanasirasagi. Dr. Om Prakash Hebbal, retired professor, PDI College, Vice Principal, Kalaburagi, was present as the guest of honour for the program.
• The guest spoke about the balance of the environment and the importance of trees in nature.
• We are consuming toxic food, reducing plastic consumption, planting trees, saving water, and doing things that can be implemented in daily life to stay healthy.
• He said that the prosperity of a nation is measured by its environment and strong personality.
• The guests and children planted trees together.
• The children performed several dance songs on the environment.
ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಶರಣಸಿರಸಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭ್ಯಾಗತರಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಓಂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಳ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಪಿ ಡಿ ಐ ಕಾಲೇಜ, ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಕಲಬುರಗಿ, ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
• ಅಭ್ಯಾಗತರು ಪರಿಸರದ ಸಮತೋಲನದ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ನಾವು ವಿಷಪೂರಿತ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಸೇವನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ , ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಬಳಕೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ಮರ ನೆಡುವದು, ನೀರಿನ ಉಳಿತಾಯ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಂತರಾಗಿರಲು ನಿತ್ಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಪರಿಸರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸದೃಢ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದಿಂದ ಅಳೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸೇರಿ ವೃಕ್ಷಾರೋಪಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
• ಹಲವಾರು ಪರಿಸರ ಕುರಿತಾದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
